The Hummingbird
You hover and glide on wings that hide
High above in the tree
You tower over me
A tiny rainbow for all to see.
Smooth, as a fin through water
You slide from flower to flower
Gentle as the breeze you sip
The honey dew of nature’s fingertip.
When the sun goes down
And it’s time to rest
Pretty bird sleep gently in your nest
Cause at the break of dawn
You renew your quest.

The Blood Stained Wars
They fight against each other,
To see who has more power,
They fight for many lands,
With their dirty and blood stained hands
And their scary bombs and guns,
Many die, some survive,
In the deep, dark abyss of hatred, they dive.
Even though I`m just a child,
I hear them fighting miles and miles,
So here I stand on the bridge of peace,
And I request all of you to stop being beasts,
Cut it out! Stop it! How many times do I say?
If you don`t stop the wars now,
We kids will have to pay.

Stars
Stars are Bright,
They give us Light, through the Night.
The Stars seem tiny in the sky,
But they are bigger when we fly, up high.
I will like to be a STAR,
Because that’s what CHILDREN are.
Bright so Bright,
And full of LIGHT!
When I look at a star,
I see myself shining far.
But when daylights here,
They disappear.
I feel so sad,
Until night comes and I’m glad.
So Please, STOP!
And LOOK at the STARS.
